“Schawin them hoo till observe aʼ things, eʼen as mony as I hae commandit ye. And tent ye! I am wiʼ ye aʼ the days; eʼen till aʼ time!”


“Tak tent! a maiden sal be wiʼ bairn, and sal bring forth a son; and they wull caʼ his name Emmanuel,” whilk is, translatit, “God wiʼ us.”
