Luke 7:48
7 Iomraidhean Croise

And behauld! they war bringin till him a man doon wiʼ a stroke, lyin on a couch: and Jesus, seein their aefauldness says tae the man, “Bairn, be oʼ gude heart; yere sins are forgien ye!”

“Whilk is easier to say, ‘Yere sins are forgien!’ or to say, ‘Rise ye, and walk?’

Whan Jesus saw their faith, quoʼ he to the paralytic, “Son, yere sins are forgien ye!”

“Whilk, think ye, is easier? to say, ‘Yere sins are forgienʼ, or to say, ‘Rise ye, and walk!’

And seein their lealness, he says to him, “Man, yere sins are forgien ye!”

“Whilk is easier to say, ‘Yeʼre sins are forgienʼ: or to say, ‘Rise ye and walk’?

“Sae, say I tʼye, Her mony sins hae been forgiʼen; for she loʼed muckle; but to wham little is forgiʼen, he loʼes little.”
