And whan the Heigh‐priest and the Temple‐captain, and the boonmaist oʼ the priests, heard thir things, they dootit iʼ their sels aboot them — what aʼ this wad come till?


Than gaed the Captain, wiʼ the officers, and feshʼt them wiʼ aʼ courtesie — for they war fleyʼd oʼ the folk, least they micht hae been staned.
