“Happy they whase hunger and drouth are aʼ for holiness: for they sal be satisfyʼt!


“He helpit Israʼl, his servitor, and rememberʼt his mercie,


“Happy, ye wha are hungerin noo! for ye sal be fillʼd! Happy, ye wha greet noo; for ye sal smile.


“But wae for you, ye rich anes! for ye are noo haein yere consolation.


Quoʼ Jesus to them, “I am the Breid oʼ Life! wha come to me sal hungʼer nae mair: and wha lippens on me sal be drouthie nevir!


For look at yere bidden, brethren; that no mony wyse accordin to the flesh, no mony oʼ pooer, no mony heigh anes war chosen;


Eʼen noo hae ye become stawʼd; eʼen noo hae ye become rich: allenarlie, and sindry frae us, ye hae gotten to be kings! and I wad ye war kings, that eʼen we micht reign alang wʼye.
