Quoʼ Jesus, “Gin ye kent Godʼs Gift, and wha it soud be that said ‘Gie me a sowp oʼ watir,’ ye wad hae socht frae him the Leevinʼ Watir — and gottenʼt too!”


Gin ony oʼ ye want wisdom, lat him be seekin frae God, wha gies in rowth till aʼ, and wytes‐na; and it sal be gien him.


Ye condemned, ye killed the Richtous Ane; and he resists‐ye‐na.


Ilka ane that hates his brither is a blude‐shedder; and we ken that nae blude‐shedder has evir‐durin life bidin in him.
