Mildheortnesse and dom mihtigan Drihtnes singe and secge,
Þuruh syndrige dagas symble ic ðe bletsige, and naman þinne neode herige on ecnesse awa to worulde.
Heriað Drihten, he is heah and good; singað him sealmas swiðe geneahhe and hine wlitegum wordum herigeað.
On dæg bebead God his mildheortnesse cuman to me, me to gefriþianne wið þyssum yrmðum; and on niht he us bebead þæt we sceoldon singan his sang. Mid me beoð symble gearo gebedu to þam Gode þe me libbendne þanon gelædde.
Min muð sægeð þine mægenspede and þin soðfæst weorc swyþust mæreð, sægeð þe ealne dæg ece hælu. For þon ic ne ongeat grame ceapunga,
Ic on earfoðdæge ecne Drihten sohte mid handum swyþe geneahhe, and ic on niht for him neode eode; næs ic on þam siðe beswicen awiht. And ic swiðe wiðsoc sawle minre fælre frofre;
for ðam þu gehwyrfdest mine fynd underbæc, and hi wæron geuntrumode and forwurdon beforan ðinre ansyne;
