2 Þa of heofenum beseah halig Drihten ofer manna bearn, hwæðer his mihta ða andgyt ænig ealra hæfde, oððe God wolde georne secan.
and for þære menigu his unrihtes he ne geðencð þæt God hit mæg gewrecan. For þam he ne deð God beforan his modes ansyne,
For ðon he fæstlice forð locade of his þam hean halgan setle; Drihten geseah of heofenum her on eorðan.
Drihten ys on his halgan temple, se Drihten se, þæs setl ys on heofenum. His egan lociað on his earman þearfan; his bræwas (þæt ys, his rihta dom) ahsað manna bearn.
Þæt byð secga gehwam snytru on frymðe, þæt he godes egesan gleawe healde, and þæt byð andgit good eallum swylce þe hine wyllað well wyrcean and healdan. Herenes Drihtnes her sceal wunian, on worulda woruld wynnum standan.
To þe cwyð min heorte: “Ic sohte þine ansyne; ic sece gyt symle, Drihten.”
