Drihten, we gehyrdon mid urum earum and ure fæderas hit us sædon: þa weorc þe þu worhtest on hiora dagum and on hiora foregengena dagum.


“Min heorte bealcet good Word (þæt ys, good Godes bearn); þæm cyncge ic befæste anweald ofer eall min weorc. Min tunge ys gelicost þæs writeres feþere þe hraðost writ.” (Þæt ys, Crist se ys word and tunge Godfæder; þurh hine synt ealle þincg geworht.)
