For þon his mildheortnyss ­ ­ ­ ­ ­is mycel ofer us torhtlice getrymed, ­ ­ ­ ­ ­til mancynne, and soðfæstnys ­ ­ ­ ­ ­swylce Dryhtnes wunað ece ­ ­ ­ ­ ­awa to feore.


Ic his sacerdas ­ ­ ­ ­ ­swylce mid hælu georne gegyrwe, ­ ­ ­ ­ ­and gōde eac his þa halgan her ­ ­ ­ ­ ­habbað blisse.


Ac wel licað ­ ­ ­ ­ ­wuldres Drihtne, þa þe hine him ondrædað ­ ­ ­ ­ ­dædum and wordum, and on his milde mod ­ ­ ­ ­ ­mægene gewenað.


“He hopode to Drihtne, alyse he hine nu he gealp þæt he hine lufode.”


Fægnien þa and blissien þa þe willon me þancian minre rihtwisnesse, and þa þe symle cweðað, “gemyclad sy Drihten,” and þa þe willon sibbe wið his ðeow.
