Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth. I crushed them as the mire of the streets, and spread them abroad.


Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations of heaven quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.


He said, “Y’all throw her down!” So they threw her down, and some of her blood was splattered against the wall and on the horses. Then he trampled her under foot.


I grind them until they are dust in the wind. I pour them out like mud in the streets.


Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of YHWH our God.


There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.


Through you, we will push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.


Strap your sword on your thigh, O mighty one, in your splendor and your majesty.


I will send him against a profane nation, and against the people who anger me I will give him a command to take the plunder and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.


For YHWH’s hand will rest in this mountain. Moab will be trodden down in his place, even like straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.


Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek YHWH!


You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.


“I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name, and he will come on rulers as upon mortar, and as the potter treads clay.


Do y’all worst, O nations, y’all will be shattered! Y’all pay attention, all those from far countries: Y’all prepare for battle, and be shattered! Y’all prepare for battle, and be shattered!


You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you, and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.


He who handles the bow won’t stand. He who is swift of foot won’t escape. He who rides the horse won’t deliver himself.


The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, among many peoples, like a lion among the animals of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep; who, if he goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is no one to deliver.


Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is YHWH your God?” My eyes will see her. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.


I will overthrow the throne of empires. I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them. The horses and their riders will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.


In that day,” says YHWH, “I will strike every horse with terror and his rider with madness. I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.


In that day YHWH will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and David’s house will be like God, like the Angel of YHWH before them.


It will happen in that day that a great panic from YHWH will be among them; and they will each seize the hand of his neighbor, and his hand will rise up against the hand of his neighbor.


Then YHWH will go out and fight against those nations, as when ʜᴇ fought in the day of battle.


For indeed I bend Judah as a bow for me. I have loaded the bow with Ephraim. I will stir up your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and will make you like the sword of a mighty man.


teaching them to observe all things that I commanded y’all. And surely I am always with y’all, to the end of the age.”


The tempter approached and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.”


“What things?” he asked them. They replied, “The things about Jesus the Nazarene. He was a prophet, powerful in deed and word before God and all the people.


Now a Jew named Apollos, a native Alexandrian, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man and strong in the Scriptures.


Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and he was powerful in his speech and action.


for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but powerful through God for tearing down fortresses.


When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses, chariots, and a people more numerous than you, you are not to be afraid of them; for YHWH your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, is with you.


But the Lord stood by me and empowered me, so that through me the message might be fully accomplished, and all the ethnic groups would hear it. So I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.


I have competed in the competition of excellence. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.


There was no day like that before it or after it, when YHWH listened to the voice of a man, because YHWH fought for Israel.


Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time because YHWH, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.


I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried with a great sound, saying to all the birds flying in midheaven, “Y’all come and be gathered together for the great banquet of God,


Then one of the young men answered and said, “I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a warrior, prudent in speech, and a handsome person, and YHWH is with him.”
