Pharaoh called Abram and said, “What is this that you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?


Pharaoh commanded men concerning him, and they escorted him away with his wife and all that he had.


He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here.”


Therefore, I boast in Christ Jesus about the things pertaining to God.


so that no flesh can boast before God.


so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord [YHWH].”


For who makes you superior? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?


For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about, for I am under compulsion. Woe to me if I don’t preach the gospel!


But what I am doing, I will continue to do, that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded as equal with us in the things they boast about.


If it is necessary to boast, I will boast about my weakness.


We aren’t commending ourselves to y’all again, but are giving y’all an opportunity to take pride in us, so that y’all will have an answer for those who take pride in appearances rather than in what is in heart.


But the Scripture locked up everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
