Hᴇ has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.


to hear the groans of the prisoner, to free those who are condemned to death,


For ʜᴇ will stand at the right hand of the needy, to save ʜɪᴍ from those who judge ʜɪꜱ soul.


“Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says YHWH. “I will provide the safety they desire.”


If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Y’all get away from me, bloodthirsty men!


“Now y’all consider this, those who forget God, or I will tear y’all into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.


For you are my hope, Lord YHWH, my confidence from my youth.


He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.


For the one who avenges blood remembers them. Hᴇ does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.


Indeed surely there is a future hope, and your hope will not be cut off.


Likewise, realize that wisdom is that for your soul. If you have found it, then there will be a reward: Your hope will not be cut off.


Hᴇ has filled the hungry with good things, and has sent the rich away empty.


Then looking up at his disciples, he said: “Blessed are the poor, for y’all’s is the Empire of God.


Y’all listen, my beloved siblings. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the empire which ʜᴇ promised to those who love ʜɪᴍ?
