For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.


All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to YHWH. All the relatives of the nations will worship before you.


For your arrows have pierced me, your hand presses hard on me.


In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. This is his name by which he will be called: YHWH our righteousness.


God brings him out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild ox. He will consume the nations his adversaries, and break their bones in pieces, and pierce them with his arrows.


Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”


Then those who received his word were baptized, and about three thousand souls were added to their number that day.


But many of those who heard the message believed, and the number of men came to be about five thousand.


And yet more believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women.


But when they heard this, they were split open with rage and wanted to murder them.


So the word of God spread, the number of the disciples increased rapidly in Jerusalem, and a large group of the priests became obedient to the faith.


When they heard these things, their hearts were split open with rage, and they gnashed their teeth at him.
