Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?


At your rebuke they fled. At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.


On the wicked ʜᴇ will rain burning coals and brimstone, a scorching wind will be the portion in their cup.


Let burning coals fall on them. Let them be thrown into the fire, into miry pits, from where they never rise.


Hᴇ also gave over their livestock to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.


All the people saw the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance.


So there was very severe hail, and lightning mixed with the hail, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.


The sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.


Plague went before him, and pestilence followed his feet.


So the crowd who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.”


They will be wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat and bitter destruction. I will send the teeth of animals on them, with the venom of vipers that glide in the dust.


As they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth Horon, YHWH hurled down great stones from the sky on them to Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the children of Israel killed with the sword.


I heard something like the sound of a massive crowd, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God Almighty reigns!


From the throne came flashes of lightning and sounds of thunder. Seven lamps of fire were burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.


Then the angel took the censer, filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it on the earth. There were thunders, sounds, lightning strikes, and an earthquake.


As Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines came near to battle against Israel; but YHWH thundered with a great thunder on that day on the Philistines and confused them; and they were struck down before Israel.
