Not that I have already obtained it or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which I was taken hold of by Christ Jesus.


But more than that, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I suffered and lost everything. Indeed, I consider them excrement, that I may gain Christ


Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teaching about Christ and press on toward maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, faith in God,


But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.
