this Ezra went up from Babylon. He was a skilled scribe in the law of Moses, which YHWH, the God of Israel, had given; and the king granted him all his request, according to YHWH his God’s hand on him.

Now God made Daniel find kindness and compassion in the sight of the prince of the eunuchs.


And so, having received help from God to this day, I stand and testify to both small and great, saying nothing other than what the prophets and Moses said would happen:


and rescued him out of all his afflictions. Hᴇ gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who appointed him ruler over Egypt and all his house.
