Blessed be YHWH, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of YHWH which is in Jerusalem;


So I came to Jerusalem and was there three days.


I went out by night by the valley gate toward the jackal’s well, then to the dung gate; and I inspected the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and its gates were consumed with fire.


Y’all pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you be secure.


Do well in your good pleasure to Zion. Build the walls of Jerusalem.


A prudent person conceals knowledge, but a foolish heart proclaim folly.


a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;


“Instead, this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says YHWH: “I will put my law within them, and I will write it in their heart. I will be their God, and they will be my people.


I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.


Therefore a prudent person keeps silent in such a time, for it is an evil time.


Y’all must not rely on a neighbor. Y’all must not have confidence in a friend. From the one laying in your bosom, You must guard the words of your mouth!


“Look, I am sending y’all out as sheep among wolves. Therefore, y’all must be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.


He arose and took the young child and his mother by night and departed into Egypt,
