“This is the thing that you are to do to them to make them holy, to minister to me in the priest’s office: take one young bull and two rams without defect,


In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day of the month, the word of YHWH came to me, saying,


“‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he is to offer a male without defect.


“‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, a male without defect must be offered. It must be offered at the door of the Tent of Meeting for its acceptance before YHWH.


“Aaron is to come into the sanctuary with a young bull for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.


He is to take from the congregation of the children of Israel two male goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.


if the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin which he has sinned a young bull without defect to YHWH for a sin offering.


He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.


He presented the ram of the burnt offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.


You are to tell the children of Israel, ‘Ya’ll must take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without defect, for a burnt offering,


For ʜᴇ made him who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.


Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the people.


He is not like those high priests, who need to offer sacrifices daily, first for their own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered himself.
