Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the gatekeeper at the east gate, was over the free will offerings of God, to distribute YHWH’s offerings and the most holy things.


In the porch of the gate were two tables on this side and two tables on that side, on which to kill the burnt offering, the sin offering, and the trespass offering.


They are to eat the meal offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering, and every devoted thing in Israel will be theirs.


He said to me, “This is the place where the priests is to boil the guilt offering and the sin offering and bake the meal offering, so that they do not bring them into the outer court and sanctify the people.”


He may eat the food of his God, both the most holy and the holy.


“‘But if he can’t afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he is to bring as his offering for that in which he has sinned, one tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. He must not put oil on it, and he must not put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.


“If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly regarding YHWH’s holy things, then he is to bring his trespass offering to YHWH: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.


“‘If someone can’t afford a lamb, then they are to bring their trespass offering for their sin, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to YHWH; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.


They is to bring them to the priest, who will first offer the one which is for the sin offering. He is to wring off its head from its neck, but must not sever it completely.


It must not be baked with yeast. I have given it as their portion of my offerings made by fire. It is most holy, as are the sin offering and the trespass offering.


“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is killed, the sin offering must be killed before YHWH. It is most holy.


They are to rededicate themselves to YHWH for the same days of dedication, and must bring a male lamb a year old for a guilt offering. The previous days will not be counted, because their separation was defiled.
