“If you encounter your enemy’s ox or donkey going astray, you are to bring-bring it back to him again.


You are to make them linen pants to cover their naked flesh. They are to reach from the waist even to the thighs.


Don’t be a witness against your neighbor without cause. Don’t deceive with your lips.


lest I be full, deny you, and say, ‘Who is YHWH?’ or lest I be poor, and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.


Though they say, ‘As YHWH lives,’ surely they swear falsely.”


Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods that y’all have not known,


When they go out into the outer court, even into the outer court to the people, they are to take off the clothes they minister in and leave them in the holy rooms. They are to put on other garments, so that they do not sanctify the people with their garments.


He will remove its entrails and its feathers, and throw it on the east side of the alter at the place for ashes.


He is to put on the holy linen tunic. and have linen undergarments on his body. He is to tie on a linen sash and be clothed with the linen turban. These are the holy garments. He is to bathe his body in water before he puts them on.


“‘Y’all must not swear falsely in my name, and profane the name of your God. I am YHWH.


I will cause it to go out,” says YHWH Almighty, “and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the middle of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones.”


I will come near to y’all for judgment. I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, adulterers, perjurers, and those who exploit laborers, widows, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me,” says YHWH Almighty.
