Leviticus 23:3 - Y'all Version Bible

3 “‘Work may be done for six days, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy assembly. Y’all are not to do any kind of work. It is a Sabbath to YHWH in all y’all’s dwellings.

He said to them, “This is what YHWH has said, ‘Tomorrow is a day of Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to YHWH. Bake what y’all want to bake and boil what y’all want to boil, and all that remains y’all set aside until the morning.’”


Look y’all—YHWH has given the Sabbath to y’all, which is why ʜᴇ gives y’all bread of two days on the sixth day. Each of y’all stay in your place. No one is to leave their place on the seventh day.”


So the people rested on the seventh day.


“Six days you are to do your work, and on the seventh day you are to rest, so that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your servant, and the resident foreigner may be refreshed.


“You are to work for six days, but on the seventh day you are to rest: in plowing time and in harvest you must rest.


Blessed is the one who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”


Also the foreigners who join themselves to YHWH to serve ʜɪᴍ, and to love the name of YHWH, to be ʜɪꜱ servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant,


“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of YHWH honorable, and honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,


“‘Each one of y’all is to respect their mother father, and y’all are to keep my Sabbaths. I am YHWH y’all’s God.


But the ruler of the synagogue was indignant that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, and he said to the crowd, “There are six days when work should be done. So y’all should come and be healed on those days, not the Sabbath day!”


They returned home and prepared spices and perfumes. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.


For since ancient times, Moses has been preached in every city and has been read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”


I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and behind me I heard a loud voice like a trumpet
