Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, he will be cut off from his people.’”


“‘As for y’all, house of Israel, Lord YHWH says: “Every one of y’all should go and serve your idols! But later y’all will listen to me, and y’all will no longer profane my holy name with y’all’s gifts and idols.


Therefore as I live,’ says Lord YHWH, ‘surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you. My eye won’t spare, and I will have no pity.


“‘Y’all are to separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, so they will not die in their uncleanness when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.’”


“‘Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.


“‘You must not give any of your children as a sacrifice to Molech. You must not profane the name of your God. I am YHWH.


“‘Y’all must not swear falsely in my name, and profane the name of your God. I am YHWH.


If the people of the land all hide-hide their eyes from that person when he gives of his offspring to Molech, and don’t put him to death,


They will be holy to their God, and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of YHWH made by fire, the bread of their God. Therefore they must be holy.


but the soul who eats of the meat of the sacrifice of peace offerings that belongs to YHWH, having his uncleanness on him, that soul will be cut off from his people.


When anyone touches any unclean thing, the uncleanness of man, or an unclean animal, or any unclean abomination, and eats some of the meat of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to YHWH, that soul will be cut off from his people.’”


Whoever touches a dead person, the body of someone who has died, and doesn’t purify themselves, defiles YHWH’s tabernacle. That soul must be cut off from Israel, because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on them, they are unclean. The uncleanness is still on them.


But a person who is unclean and does not purify themself, those souls must be cut off from among the assembly, because they have defiled the sanctuary of YHWH. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on them. They is unclean.


What agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will dwell with them and walk among them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”


For the eyes of the Lord [YHWH] are on the righteous, and ʜɪꜱ ears are open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord [YHWH] is against those who do evil.”
