As soon as the commandment went out, the children of Israel gave in abundance the first fruits of grain, new wine, oil, honey, and of all the increase of the field; and they brought in the tithe of all things abundantly.


“You must not delay to offer from your harvest and from the outflow of your presses. “You must give the firstborn of your sons to me.


You are to bring the first of the first fruits of your ground into the house of YHWH your God. “You must not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.


“You are to observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year’s end.


“You are to speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When y’all have come into the land which I am giving to y’all, and reap its harvest, then y’all are bring the sheaf of the first fruits of y’all’s harvest to the priest.


Y’all are to bring from y’all’s dwellings two loaves of bread for a wave offering made from two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour. They are to be baked with yeast as first fruits to YHWH.


He is to offer his offering with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving with cakes of leavened bread.


Y’all must offer up a cake from the y’all’s first dough as an offering. Like an offering from the threshing floor, y’all are to offer it.


“I have given to you all the best of the oil, all the best of the vintage, and of the grain, the first fruits of them which they give to YHWH.


But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruit of those who are asleep.


Now, look, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, YHWH, have given me.” You are to place it before YHWH your God, and worship YHWH your God.


These are the ones who had not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were redeemed by Jesus from among humans, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
