He will not fail nor be discouraged, until he has set justice in the earth, and the islands wait for his law.”


They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are truthful and that you teach the way of God in truth. You are not concerned about anyone because you don’t focus on the face of humans.


Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,


But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the counsel of God for them, because they had not been baptized by John.


Nevertheless, even many of the rulers believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they didn’t openly acknowledge it, so that they wouldn’t be excluded from the synagogue,


Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret.


Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.


“Come y’all, see a human who told me everything that I have done. Can this be the Christ?”


Therefore some of the people of Jerusalem said, “Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill?


But many in the crowd believed in him. They said, “When the Christ comes, he won’t do more signs than this man has done, will he?”


Have any of the rulers or Pharisees believed in him?


His parents said these things because they feared the Jewish leaders. For they had already agreed that anyone who confessed him to be Christ would be put out of the synagogue.


Now when they observed the fearless confidence of Peter and John, and it grasped them that they were uneducated, ordinary humans, they marveled, and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.


and most of the siblings, having confidence in the Lord because of my imprisonment, dare all the more to speak the word of God without fear.
