They saw him afar off, and before he came near to them, they conspired against him to kill him.


Then I testified against them and said to them, “Why do y’all spend the night by the wall? If y’all do this again, I will send y’all away forcibly.” From that time on, they no longer come on the Sabbath.


From that time forth, half of my servants did the work, and half of them held the spears, the shields, the bows, and the coats of mail; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.


Blessed be the name of YHWH, from this time forward and forever more.


The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together against YHWH, and against ʜɪꜱ Anointed One, saying,


For I have heard the slander of many, terror on every side, while they conspire together against me, they plot to take away my life.


For my enemies talk about me. Those who watch for my soul conspire together,


Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, “If I tell you, won’t you kill-kill me? If I give you counsel, you won’t listen to me.”


Then the princes said to the king, “Please let this man be put to death, because he weakens the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words to them; for this man doesn’t seek the welfare of this people, but harm.”


But the Pharisees went out and conspired against him, as to how they might destroy him.


From that time, Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised up.


No one was able to answer him a word. And from that day forward, no one dared to ask him any more questions.


They schemed together to arrest Jesus through deceit and kill him.


Now the chief priests, the elders, and the whole council were trying to find false testimony against Jesus, so that they could put him to death.


Now it was two days before the Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might arrest him secretly and kill him.


The Pharisees left immediately and conspired with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him.


The chief priests therefore and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, “What are we doing? For this man is performing many signs.


But the chief priests planned to kill Lazarus also,


After these things, Jesus traveled in Galilee. He didn’t want to travel in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him.


But when they heard this, they were split open with rage and wanted to murder them.


After many days had passed, the Jews conspired together to kill him,
