Blessed be YHWH from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Y’all praise YHWH!


By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, and we wept when we remembered Zion.


YHWH will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Y’all praise YHWH!


Let Israel rejoice their Maker. Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.


I hate those who regard lying vanities, but I trust in YHWH.


Ah sinful nation, a people loaded with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken YHWH. They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They are estranged and backward.


Cry and shout, you inhabitant of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is great among you!”


They come from a far country, from the uttermost part of heaven, even YHWH, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.


For YHWH is our judge. YHWH is our lawgiver. YHWH is our king. He will save us.


Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and asked him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a country far from me, even from Babylon.”


Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city, for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.


They are worthless, a work of delusion. In the time of their visitation they will perish.


Have you rejected-rejected Judah? Has your soul loathed Zion? Why do you strike us with no hope of healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came, and for a time of healing, but there is only terror!


Why should you be like a dumbfounded person, like a warrior who can’t save? Yet you, YHWH, are in the middle of us, and we are called by your name. Don’t leave us.


YHWH says, “What unrighteousness have y’all’s ancestors found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after worthless vanity, and have become worthless?


They are prophesying a lie to y’all which will remove y’all far from your* land. I will banish y’all, and y’all will perish.


For there will be a day that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim cry, ‘Y’all get up! Let’s go up to Zion to YHWH our God.’”


“For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done only that which was evil in my sight from their youth; for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says YHWH.


Do they provoke me to anger?” says YHWH. “Don’t they provoke themselves, to the confusion of their own faces?”


“The harvest is past. The summer has ended, and we are not saved.”


I will scatter them also among the nations, whom neither they nor their ancestors have known. I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.”


“It will be 18,000 reeds in circumference. And the name of the city from that day will be, ‘YHWH is there.’


Then everyone who calls on the name of YHWH will be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as YHWH has said, and among the remnant, those whom YHWH calls.


I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed, for YHWH dwells in Zion.”


But in Mount Zion, there will be those who escape, and it will be holy. The house of Jacob will possess their possessions.


Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail?


YHWH has taken away your judgments. He has thrown out your enemy. The King of Israel, YHWH, is among you. You will not be afraid of evil any more.


Look! I will shake my hand over them, and they will be a plunder to those who served them. Then y’all will know that YHWH Almighty has sent me.


“Men, why are y’all doing these things? We are only human, just like y’all. We are bringing y’all good news, so that y’all will turn from these worthless things toward the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in them.


Then my anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they will be devoured. Many evils and troubles will come on them, so that they will say in that day, ‘Haven’t these evils come on us because our God is not among us?’


“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: Thus says the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven golden lampstands:
