He who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.


But the rest fled to Aphek, into the city; and the wall fell on twenty-seven thousand men who were left. Ben Hadad fled and came into the city, into an inner room.


What will y’all do on the day of visitation, and in the desolation that comes from afar? To whom will y’all flee for help? Where will y’all leave y’all’s wealth?


Fear, the pit, and the snare are on you who inhabit the earth.


It will happen that he who flees from the noise of the fear will fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the middle of the pit will be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.


They are worthless, a work of delusion. In the time of their visitation they will perish.


There will be no remnant to them, for I will bring evil on the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation.’”


“See, I will send for many fishermen,” says YHWH, “and they will catch them. Afterward I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them from every mountain, from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.


Therefore their way will be to them as slippery places in the darkness. They will be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their visitation,” says YHWH.


Also her hired men in the middle of her are like calves of the stall, for they also are turned back. They have fled away together. They didn’t stand, for the day of their calamity has come on them, the time of their visitation.


Y’all must turn and flee! Y’all must inhabit the depths, inhabitants of Dedan, for I will bring the disaster of Esau on him when I visit him.


I have laid a snare for you, and you are also taken, Babylon, and you weren’t aware. You are found, and also caught, because you have fought against YHWH.


Y’all are to kill all her bulls. Let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them! For their day has come, the time of their visitation.


They are vanity, a work of delusion. In the time of their visitation, they will perish.


Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed. They couldn’t blush. Therefore they will fall among those who fall. In the time of their visitation they will be cast down, says YHWH.


Terror and the pit have come on us, devastation and destruction.”


The days of visitation have come. The days of reckoning have come. Israel will consider the prophet to be a fool, and the man who is inspired to be insane, because of the abundance of your sins, and because your hostility is great.


As if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him, or he went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a snake bit him.


The best of them is like a brier. The most upright is worse than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even your visitation, has come; now is the time of their confusion.
