then I will uproot them from my land that I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.


The burden of Egypt. “Look, YHWH rides on a swift cloud, and comes to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence; and the heart of Egypt will melt within it.


For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen; because their tongue and their doings are against YHWH, to provoke the eyes of ʜɪꜱ glory.


Y’all will leave your* name to be used as a curse for my chosen, and Lord YHWH will kill you. Hᴇ will call ʜɪꜱ servants by another name.


Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry to the gods to which they offer incense, but they will not save them at all in the time of their trouble.


For YHWH Almighty, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense to Baal.

I will pursue them with the sword, famine, and pestilence, and I will deliver them to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth, to be an object of horror, an astonishment, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them,


“For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done only that which was evil in my sight from their youth; for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says YHWH.


For YHWH Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘As my anger and my wrath has been poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so my wrath will be poured out on y’all when y’all enter into Egypt. They will be an object of horror, an astonishment, a curse, and a reproach.
