“‘“‘It will happen that I will punish the nation and the kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon,’ says YHWH, ‘with the sword, with famine, and with pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

“‘But if y’all say, “We will not dwell in this land,” and not obey the voice of YHWH y’all’s God’s,


Look, I watch over them for evil, and not for good; and all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt will be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until they are all gone.


Y’all have feared the sword, and I will bring the sword on y’all,” says Lord YHWH.


But my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, didn’t they overtake y’all’s ancestors? “Then they repented and said, ‘Just as YHWH Almighty determined to do to us, according to our ways and according to our practices, so ʜᴇ has dealt with us.’”

But if you will not listen to the voice of YHWH your God and are not careful to do all ʜɪꜱ commandments and statutes that I am commanding you today, then all these curses will come on you and overtake you.


YHWH will strike you with consumption, with fever, with inflammation, with fiery heat, with the sword, with blight, and with mildew. They will pursue you until you perish.


All these curses will come on you, and will pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you didn’t listen to the voice of YHWH your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded you.
