But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways, YHWH will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.


The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.


But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart, and didn’t listen to them, as YHWH had spoken.


Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, “Y’all must pray to YHWH to take away the frogs from me and from my people. Then I will let the people go so that they may sacrifice to YHWH.”


Y’all must pray to YHWH, for there has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let y’all go, and y’all will stay no longer.”


As a dog that returns to his vomit, so is a fool who repeats his folly.


Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.


All the princes and all the people obeyed who had entered into the covenant, that everyone should let his male servant and everyone his female servant go free, that no one should make bondservants of them any more. They obeyed and let them go,


Therefore word of YHWH came to Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,


but y’all repented back around and profaned my name, and each one took back their male servant and female servant, whom y’all had set free to their desire. Y’all brought them into subjection, to be to y’all male servants and female servants.’”


“I will give Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes into the hands of their enemies, into the hands of those who seek their life and into the hands of the king of Babylon’s army, who has withdrawn from y’all.


Pharaoh’s army had come out of Egypt, and when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news of them, they withdrew from Jerusalem.


“What am I going do with you, Ephraim,? What am I going do with you, Judah? For y’all’s love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.


They return, but not to the Most High. They are like a faulty bow. Their princes will fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue. This will be their derision in the land of Egypt.


those who have turned back from following YHWH, and those who haven’t sought YHWH nor inquired after him.


For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go away unharmed? Therefore may YHWH reward you good for that which you have done to me today.


Then Saul said, “I have sinned. Return, my son David; for I will no more do you harm, because my life was precious in your eyes today. I have played the fool! I have been terribly wonrg.”
