The king of Babylon attacked them and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.


So all Israel were listed by genealogies, and they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.


Hᴇ breaks down, and it can’t be built again. Those ʜᴇ imprisons cannot be released.


They will come from the cities of Judah, and from the places around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin, from the lowland, from the hill country, and from the South, bringing burnt offerings, sacrifices, meal offerings, and frankincense, and bringing sacrifices of thanksgiving to the house of YHWH.


For YHWH says, ‘I am about to make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They will fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes will see it. I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will carry them captive to Babylon, and will kill them with the sword.


After Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had deported Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the artisans and smiths from Jerusalem and had brought them to Babylon, YHWH showed me two baskets of figs that were set before the temple of YHWH.


I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, who went to Babylon,’ says YHWH; ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’”


People will buy fields for money, sign the deeds, seal them, and call witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, and in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South; for I will cause their captivity to be reversed,” says YHWH.


In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the South, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks will again pass under the hands of him who counts them,” says YHWH.


Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the rest of the people who remained in the city, the deserters also who fell away to him, and the rest of the people who remained.


The king of Babylon struck them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.


This is the number of the people whom Nebuchadnezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year, 3,023 Jews;


in the twenty-third year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews 745 people. All the people numbered 4,600.


Judah has gone into captivity because of affliction and because of great servitude. She dwells among the nations. She finds no rest. All her persecutors overtook her in her distress.


Are these not the words which YHWH proclaimed by the former prophets when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and its cities around her, and the South and the lowland were inhabited?’”


But if you will not listen to the voice of YHWH your God and are not careful to do all ʜɪꜱ commandments and statutes that I am commanding you today, then all these curses will come on you and overtake you.


They will besiege you in all your gates until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout all your land. They will besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land which YHWH your God has given you.


They are to divide it into seven portions. Judah will live in his borders on the south, and the house of Joseph will live in their borders on the north.
