7 now therefore, look, the Lord is bringing upon them the mighty flood waters of the River: the king of Assyria and all his glory. It will come up over all its channels, and go over all its banks.

I will bring the flood of waters on this earth to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.


“Therefore YHWH says concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there. He will not come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.


and the rest of the nations whom the great and noble Osnappar brought over and settled in the city of Samaria, and in the rest of the country beyond the River, and so forth, wrote.


There is a river, the streams of which make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High.


May he have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.


Therefore the Lord, YHWH Almighty, will send leanness among his fat ones; and under his glory a burning will be kindled like a blazing fire.


Alas Assyrian, the rod of my anger, the staff in whose hand is my indignation!


YHWH will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.


“Because y’all have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and we are in agreement with Sheol. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it won’t come to us. For we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.’”


I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.


Look, the Lord has one who is mighty and strong. Like a storm of hail, a destroying storm, and like a storm of mighty waters overflowing, he will cast them down to the earth with his hand.


When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.


So they will fear the name of YHWH from the west, and ʜɪꜱ glory from the rising of the sun; for ʜᴇ will come as a rushing stream, which the Spirit of YHWH drives.


YHWH will bring on you, on your people, and on your father’s house a time that has not come since day that Ephraim departed from Judah: the king of Assyria!


In that day the Lord will use a razor, hired in the parts beyond the River (the king of Assyria), to shave the head and the hair of pubic area, and it will also consume the beard.


YHWH says: “Look, waters rise up out of the north, and will become an overflowing stream, and will overflow the land and all that is therein, the city and those who dwell therein. The men will cry, and all the inhabitants of the land will wail.


The sea has come up on Babylon. She is covered with the multitude of its waves.


“For Lord YHWH says: ‘When I make you a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited, when I bring up the deep on you, and the great waters cover you,


His sons will wage war, and will assemble a multitude of great forces which will come-come, and overflow, and pass through. They will return and wage war, even to his fortress.


The overwhelming forces will be overwhelmed from before him, and will be broken. Yes, also the prince of the covenant.


After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.


Won’t the land tremble for this, and everyone mourn who dwells in it? Yes, it will rise up wholly like the River; and it will be stirred up and sink again, like the River of Egypt.


For the Lord, YHWH Almighty, is he who touches the land and it melts, and all who dwell in it will mourn; and it will rise up wholly like the River, and will sink again, like the River of Egypt.


For her wounds are incurable; for it has come even to Judah. It reaches to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.


He will stand and shepherd in the strength of YHWH, in the majesty of the name of YHWH his God. They will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.


He will be our peace when Assyria invades our land and when he marches through our fortresses, then we will raise against him seven shepherds, and eight leaders of men.


But with an overflowing flood, ʜᴇ will make a full end of her place, and will pursue ʜɪꜱ enemies into darkness.


They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid a foundation on the rock. When a flood came, the torrent broke against that house and could not shake it, because it was finely built.


He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, crowds, ethnic groups, and tongues.
