Is anything too hard for YHWH? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.”


Does the one who planted the ear not hear? Does ʜᴇ who formed the eye not see?


YHWH says, “Where is the bill of your mother’s divorce certificate that I used to put her away? To which of my creditors have I sold y’all? Look, y’all were sold for your* iniquities, and your* mother was put away for y’all’s transgressions.


Why, when I came, was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Is my hand so short-short, that it cannot redeem? Or do I not have the power to deliver? Look, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness. Their fish stink because there is no water, and die of thirst.


Then you will call, and YHWH will answer. You will cry for help, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away from among you the yoke, finger pointing, and speaking wickedly;


Make the heart of this people calloused. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.”


Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who is this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”


It will happen that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.


Why should you be like a dumbfounded person, like a warrior who can’t save? Yet you, YHWH, are in the middle of us, and we are called by your name. Don’t leave us.


“Ah Lord YHWH! You have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.


Therefore I will also deal in wrath. My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. Though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet I will not hear them.”

YHWH said to Moses, “Has YHWH’s hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not.”


for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, Otherwise they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, and I would heal them.’


Therefore he is also able to save completely those who draw near to God through him, because he lives forever to intercede for them.


When the people had come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, “Why has YHWH defeated us today before the Philistines? Let’s get the ark of YHWH’s covenant out of Shiloh and bring it to us, that it may come among us and save us out of the hand of our enemies.”


Y’all will cry out in that day because of your* king whom y’all will have chosen for yourselves*, but YHWH will not answer y’all in that day.”
