“Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says YHWH. “I will provide the safety they desire.”


Arise, God! Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.


God presides in the divine assembly. Hᴇ judges among the gods.


“Come y’all, and let’s settle this,” says YHWH: “Though y’all’s sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool.


Your Lord YHWH, your God who pleads the cause of his people, says, “Look, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath. You will not drink it any more.


For YHWH will execute judgment by fire and by ʜɪꜱ sword on all flesh, and those slain by YHWH will be many.


“Let the nations arouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.


Y’all must listen to what YHWH says: “You are to arise and plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear what you have to say.


Y’all listen to YHWH’s indictment, O mountains, the enduring foundations of the earth. YHWH has a case against ʜɪꜱ people, and ʜᴇ will argue against Israel.
