By ʜɪꜱ Spirit the heavens are garnished. Hɪꜱ hand has pierced the swift serpent.


Let them curse it who curse the day, who are ready to rouse up leviathan.


It is the first among the words of God. Yet its maker can approach with ʜɪꜱ sword.


“Can you draw out Leviathan with a fish hook, or press down its tongue with a cord?


There the ships go, and leviathan, whom you formed to play there.


Strap your sword on your thigh, O mighty one, in your splendor and your majesty.


For look, YHWH comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also will disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.


Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of YHWH! Awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?


I will destine y’all for the sword, and y’all will all bow down to the slaughter, because when I called, y’all didn’t answer. When I spoke, y’all didn’t listen. Y’all did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose what I did not delight in.”


The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat straw like the ox. Dust will be the serpent’s food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says YHWH.


For YHWH will execute judgment by fire and by ʜɪꜱ sword on all flesh, and those slain by YHWH will be many.


“‘You sword of YHWH, how long will it be before you are quiet? Put yourself back into your scabbard; rest, and be still.’


You who dwell on many waters, abundant in treasures, your end has come, the measure of your covetousness.


“Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me. He has crushed me. He has made me an empty vessel. He has swallowed me up like a sea monster. He has filled his belly with my delicacies. and then spewed me out.


Speak and say, ‘This is what Lord YHWH says: “Look! I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the middle of his rivers, that has said, ‘My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.’


Though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out from there; and though they be hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent, and it will bite them.


Another sign appeared in heaven. Look! A massive red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on its heads.


I saw another beast ascending from the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon.


They worshiped the dragon because it gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war against it?”


I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the dragon’s mouth, out of the beast’s mouth, and out of the false prophet’s mouth.


One of the seven angels who held the seven bowls came and spoke with me, “Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,


He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, crowds, ethnic groups, and tongues.


The rest were killed with the sword that came from the mouth of the one who sat on the horse, and all the birds were engorged with their flesh.


Therefore, you must repent! Otherwise, I am coming to you soon, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.


He seized the dragon, the old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
