“It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and y’all’s sons and daughters will prophesy. Y’all’s old men will dream dreams. Y’all’s young men will see visions.


as ʜᴇ spoke to our ancestors, to Abraham and his offspring forever.”


to show mercy toward our ancestors, to remember ʜɪꜱ holy covenant,


And beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them the things written about himself in all the Scriptures.


He said to them, “These are my words that I told y’all while I was still with y’all, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”


However, when ʜᴇ, the Spirit of truth, has come, ʜᴇ will guide y’all into all truth, for ʜᴇ will not speak from ʜɪᴍꜱᴇʟꜰ; but whatever ʜᴇ hears, ʜᴇ will speak. Hᴇ will declare to y’all what is coming.


Moses gave y’all circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but from the fathers), and on the Sabbath y’all circumcise a boy.


We know that God has spoken to Moses. But this man—we don’t know where he comes from.”


“We proclaim to y’all the good news of the promise made to our ancestors,


So then, since he was a prophet and he knew that God had sworn an oath to him that ʜᴇ would place one of his biological descendants on his throne,


After appointing a day for him, they came to his lodging in even larger numbers. He explained to them from morning until evening, testifying about the Empire of God, working to persuade them about Jesus from the law of Moses and the prophets.


whom heaven must receive until the time of the restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.


even though it was said to him, “Your descendants will carry on your name through Isaac.”


For by it, the people of old were commended.


Y’all be sure not to refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned them on the earth, how much more will we not escape if we turn away from him who warns from heaven.


For if the word spoken through angels was firm, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,


how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? It was first spoken through the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard him.


Truly “Moses was faithful in all ʜɪꜱ house as a servant,” for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken in the future.


For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken later about another day.


So also Christ didn’t glorify himself to be made a high priest, but ʜᴇ who said to him, “You are my Son. Today I have become your father.”


For when Moses had spoken every commandment to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the scroll and all the people,
