but God led the people around by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.


Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, because Joseph had made the children of Israel swear-swear an oath, saying, “God will aid-aid y’all, and y’all must carry up my bones away from here with y’all.”


I have said that I will bring y’all up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’
