YHWH came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built.


Come, let us go down and there confuse their language so that they may not understand one another’s speech.”


He said to Abram, “You may know-know that your offspring will live as foreigners in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them. They will afflict them four hundred years.


I will also judge that nation, whom they will serve. Afterward they will come out with great wealth;


I will go down now, and see whether their deeds are as bad as the reports which have come to me. If not, I will know.”


Their father, Israel, said to them, “If it must be so, then y’all do this: Y’all take from the choice fruits of the land in y’all’s bags, and carry down a present for the man, a little balm, a little honey, spices and myrrh, nuts, and almonds.


I will go down with you into Egypt. I will also surely bring you up again. Joseph’s hand will close your eyes.”


Joseph said to his brothers, “I am dying, but God will visit-visit y’all, and bring y’all up out of this land to the land which he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

found his heart faithful before you, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it to his offspring, and have performed your words, for you are righteous.


“Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says YHWH. “I will provide the safety they desire.”


The words of YHWH are flawless words, like silver refined in a crucible, purified seven times.


Y’all taste and see that YHWH is good. Blessed is the warrior who seeks protection in ʜɪᴍ.


He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.


At the end of four hundred thirty years, to the day, all of YHWH’s armies went out from the land of Egypt.


That same day, YHWH brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.


When YHWH brings you into the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which he swore to your ancestors to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you must keep this service in this month.


I have said that I will bring y’all up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’


Observe that which I command you today. I will drive out before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.


For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people. You have not rescued your people at all!”


until I come and take y’all away to a land like y’all’s own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.


Oh that you would tear the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence—


Then I may establish the oath which I swore to y’all’s ancestors, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as it is today.” Then I answered, and said, “Amen, YHWH.”


I brought y’all into a plentiful land to eat its fruit and its goodness. But when y’all entered, y’all defiled my land, and y’all made my heritage an abomination.


and gave them this land, which you swore to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.


in that day I swore to them to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.


But I have said to y’all, “Y’all will inherit their land, and I will give it to y’all to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am YHWH y’all’s God, who has set y’all apart from the peoples.


Also I brought y’all up out of the land of Egypt and led y’all forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.


Y’all inspect what the land is like, and the people who live there, whether they are strong or weak, few or many.


Is the land they dwell in, good or bad? Are the cities they are they dwell in, encampments or fortifications?


They told him, and said, “We came to the land where you sent us. Surely it flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.


No one has ascended into heaven but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of Humanity.


For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of ʜɪᴍ who sent me.


They took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and brought it down to us, and brought us word again, and said, “It is a good land which YHWH our God gives to us.”


Now y’all must turn and set out on y’all’s journey, going to the hill country of the Amorites and to all the places near there: in the Arabah, in the hill country, in the lowland, in the South, by the seashore, in the land of the Canaanites, and in Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.


You are to write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over, so that you may enter into the land that YHWH your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as YHWH, the God of your fathers, has promised you.


YHWH will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which YHWH swore to your ancestors to give you.


Listen, Israel, and be careful to do it, that it may go well with you, and that y’all may multiply greatly, just as YHWH, the God of your ancestors, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.


When YHWH your God brings you into the land where you go to possess it, and casts out many nations before you—the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite—seven nations greater and mightier than you;


For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness until all the nation, even the men of war who came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they didn’t listen to YHWH’s voice. YHWH swore to them that he wouldn’t let them see the land which YHWH swore to their fathers that he would give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.


When all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard of it


The men of Israel said to the Hivites, “Maybe you live near us? How could we make a covenant with you?”
