3 Y’all are to speak to the whole community of Israel, saying, ‘On the tenth day of this month, each man is to take a lamb according to his fathers’ household, a lamb for each household.

Abraham said, “God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they both went together.


Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. YHWH respected Abel and his offering,


Josiah gave to the children of the people, of the flock, lambs and young goats, all of them for the Passover offerings, to all who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bulls. These were of the king’s substance.


This month is to be the beginning of months for y’all, the first month of y’all’s year.


Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Y’all go and select lambs according to y’all’s families, and slaughter the Passover animal.


If the household is too small for a lamb, then he and his neighbor nearest to his house are to take one according to the number of the lives there. Y’all are to divide the lamb according to what everyone can eat.


Y’all are to care for it until the fourteenth day of the same month, and then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel will slaughter it at twilight.


YHWH said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward.


They said to Moses, “Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but don’t let God speak with us, lest we die.”


Aaron spoke all the words which YHWH had spoken to Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.


Therefore you are to tell the children of Israel, ‘I am YHWH, and I will bring y’all out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rescue y’all from their bondage. I will redeem y’all with an outstretched arm, and with great acts of judgment.


In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, in the same day, YHWH’s hand was on me, and he brought me there.


“You are to speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When any of y’all presents an offering to YHWH, y’all are to bring as your* offering an animal from the herd or the flock.


and is to bring their trespass offering to YHWH for the sin they sinned: a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering. Then the priest is to make atonement for them concerning their sin.


This is to be done for each bull, ram, male lamb, or young goats.


The next day, he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!


and he looked at Jesus as he walked by, and said, “Look! The Lamb of God!”


Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom he raised from the dead.


On the next day a large crowd had come to the feast. When they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,


Y’all must cleanse the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch, just as you are. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed.


In the morning y’all are to approach in order of y’all’s tribes. The tribe that YHWH selects will approach by clan. Then the clan that YHWH selects must approach by households. The household that YHWH selects must approach man by man.


All those who dwell on the earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written in the scroll of life of the Lamb who has been butchered from the foundation of the world.


Samuel took a suckling lamb, and offered it for a whole burnt offering to YHWH. Samuel cried to YHWH for Israel, and YHWH answered him.
