All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. He said, “For I will go down to Sheol to my son, mourning.” His father wept for him.


Now devote y’all’s heart and soul to follow YHWH y’all’s God. Y’all need to get up and build the sanctuary of YHWH God, so that y’all can bring the ark of YHWH’s covenant and the holy vessels of God into the house that is to be built for the name of YHWH.”


David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed, for YHWH God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of YHWH is finished.


I arose in the night, I and a few men with me. I didn’t tell anyone what my God put into my heart to do for Jerusalem. There wasn’t any animal with me except the animal that I rode on.


He spoke before his brothers and the army of Samaria, and said, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, since they are burned?”


So we built the wall; and all the wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.


before I go where I will not return from, to the land of darkness and of the shadow of death;


the land dark as midnight, of the shadow of death, without any order, where the light is as midnight.’”


They spend their days in prosperity. In an instant they go down to Sheol.


For in death there is no remembrance of you. In Sheol, who will give you thanks?


Don’t say to your neighbor, “Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you,” when you have it by you.


If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves on the earth; and if a tree falls toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.


In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening don’t withhold your hand; for you don’t know which will prosper, whether this or that, or whether they both will be equally good.


I said, “In the middle of my life I go into the gates of Sheol. I am deprived of the rest of my years.”


Y’all will seek me and find me, when y’all search for me with all your* heart.


Caleb silenced the people before Moses, and said, “Let’s go-go up at once, and possess it because we can conquer-conquer it!”


“They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ “He said to them, ‘Y’all go and work in my vineyard also.’


But y’all seek first the Empire of God and ʜɪꜱ righteousness, and all these things will also be given to y’all.


Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of ʜɪᴍ who sent me and to accomplish ʜɪꜱ work.


I must work the works of ʜɪᴍ who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.


not lacking in zeal, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord,


But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not futile. No, I worked more than all of them–yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.


Now if Timothy comes, y’all see to it that he is without fear with y’all, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.


Don’t y’all know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? Y’all should run to win.


Therefore I do not run aimlessly, or box like one beating the air.


redeeming the time, because the days are evil.


Whatever y’all are doing, y’all work heartily, as for the Lord and not for humans,


Let it be, when these signs have come to you, that you do what is appropriate for the occasion; for God is with you.
