When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate. Then she gave some to her man who was with her, and he ate it too.


the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took any that they wanted for themselves as wives.


It will happen, as soon as I leave you, that the Spirit of YHWH will carry you I don’t know where; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he can’t find you, he will kill me. But I, your servant, have feared YHWH from my youth.


At noon Elijah began mocking them. He said, “Y’all should shout louder! He is a god, but perhaps he is be deep in thought, or has gone somewhere, or he is travelling. Maybe he is sleeping and needs to be awakened.”


When he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, should we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or should we refrain?” He answered him, “Go up and prosper; and YHWH will deliver it into the hand of the king.”


if my step has turned out of the way, if my heart walked after my eyes, if any defilement has stuck to my hands,


So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.


Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw near, when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them;”


For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.


Whatever my eyes desired, I didn’t keep from them. I didn’t withhold my heart from any joy, for my heart rejoiced because of all my labor, and this was my portion from all my labor.


I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice, and to do good as long as they live.


I said in my heart, “God will judge the righteous and the wicked; for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.”


Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire. This also is emptiness and a chasing after wind.


In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yes, God has made the one side by side with the other, so that no one can find out anything that comes after them.


They say-and-say to those who despise me, ‘YHWH has said, “Y’all will have peace;”’ and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, ‘No disaster will come to y’all.’


But they didn’t listen or turn their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.


It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.


“‘But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, blasphemes YHWH. That soul must be cut off from among his people.


This is to be a tassel for y’all too look at and remember all YHWH’s commandments, and for y’all do them and not prostitute yourselves by following y’all’s own heart and y’all’s own eyes.


The Angel of YHWH said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Look, I have come out as an adversary, because your way is perverse before me.


But I tell y’all that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has committed adultery with her already in their heart.


I will tell my soul, “Soul, you have lots of goods stored up for many years. Take it easy, eat, drink, and be merry.”’


In past generations, ʜᴇ allowed all the ethnic groups to go their own ways.


As he discussed righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became afraid and said, “Go away for now! When I have an open time, I’ll send for you.”


But you, why do you judge your sibling? Or why do you despise your sibling? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.


Therefore y’all judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each person will receive praise from God.


For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive according to what was done in the body, whether good or bad.


When such a person hears the words of this curse, he bless himself in his heart, saying, “I will have peace, even though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.” This will destroy the moist and the dry land.


Just as humans are appointed to die once and after this comes judgment,


When I saw among the plunder a beautiful Babylonian robe, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, then I coveted them and took them. Look, they are hidden in the ground in the middle of my tent, with the silver under it.”


But by the same word, the present heavens and earth, are being reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly humans.
