But a man dies and is laid low. When a human expires, where is he?


so man lies down and doesn’t rise. Until the heavens are no more, they will not awake, nor be roused out of their sleep.


He wanders abroad for bread, saying, ‘Where is it?’ He knows that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.


He will be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.


Humans who have riches without understanding, are like the animals that perish.


Invest a in seven shares, or even eight, for you don’t know what disaster will be on the earth.


Then I said in my heart, “As it happens to the fool, so will it happen even to me; and why was I then more wise?” Then I said in my heart that this also is emptiness.


So I hated life, because the work that is worked under the sun was grievous to me. All is emptiness and a chasing after wind.


Who knows whether they will be wise or a fool? Yet they will have rule over all of my labor in which I have labored, and in which I have shown myself wise under the sun. This also is emptiness.


For to the person who pleases ʜɪᴍ, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner ʜᴇ gives the task of gathering and accumulating, so that ʜᴇ may give to someone who pleases God. This also is emptiness and a chasing after wind.


There was no end of all the people who were before him, yet those who come after will not rejoice in him. Surely this also is emptiness and a chasing after wind.


There is one who is alone, and he has neither son nor brother. There is no end to all of his labor, neither are his eyes satisfied with wealth. “For whom then do I labor and deprive my soul of enjoyment?” This also is emptiness. Yes, it is a miserable business.


When words increase emptiness increases. What does that profit humanity?


Yes, though he live a thousand years twice told, and yet fails to enjoy good, don’t all go to one place?


In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yes, God has made the one side by side with the other, so that no one can find out anything that comes after them.


Though a sinner commits crimes a hundred times, and lives long, yet surely I know that it will be better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.


Then I commended enjoyment, because there is no better thing under the sun than for a person to eat, drink, and be joyful: for that will accompany them in their labor all the days of their life which God has given under the sun.


Go your way—eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.


Y’all are to give glory to YHWH y’all’s God, before ʜᴇ brings darkness, and before y’all’s feet stumble on the dark mountains, and while y’all look for light, ʜᴇ turns it into the shadow of death, and makes it deep darkness.


A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness. As the dawn spreading on the mountains, a great and strong people; there has never been the like, neither will there be any more after them, even to the years of many generations.


Then the king said to the deacons, ‘Y’all bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’


Then Jesus said to them, “Y’all are only going to have the light for a little while longer. Walk while y’all have the light, so that darkness doesn’t overtake y’all. Whoever walks in the darkness doesn’t know where they are going.


Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!


They said to y’all, “In the last time there will be mockers, walking after their own ungodly desires.”
