Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your life of emptiness, which he has given you under the sun, all your days of emptiness, for that is your portion in life, and in your labor in which you labor under the sun.


“Another said, ‘I just got married a woman, so I can’t come.’


But I say this, siblings, the time is short. From now on, those who have women should be as though they had none;


What man is there who become engaged to a women and not married her? Let him go and return to his house, or he die in the battle, and another man take her.”


No man may take the mill or the upper millstone as a pledge, for he takes a life in pledge.
