For he had dominion over all on this side the River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings on this side the River; and he had peace on all sides around him.


and he spoke kindly to him and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon,


“Cyrus king of Persia says, ‘YHWH, the God of heaven, has given all the kingdoms of the earth to me. Hᴇ has commanded me to build ʜɪᴍ a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Any of ʜɪꜱ people among y’all, may YHWH their God be with them, and let them go up.’”


“Cyrus king of Persia says, ‘YHWH, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, Power belongs to God.


By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.


For he says, “Aren’t all of my commanders kings?


“Sit in silence, and go into darkness, daughter of the Chaldeans. For you will no longer be called the mistress of kingdoms.


For YHWH Almighty, the God of Israel says, “I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they will serve him. I have also given him the animals of the field.”’”


The word which came to Jeremiah from YHWH, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, with all his army, all the kingdoms of the earth that were under his dominion, and all the peoples, were fighting against Jerusalem and against all its cities, saying:


“For this i what Lord YHWH says: ‘I am about to bring on Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, from the north, with horses, with chariots, with horsemen, and an army with many people.


The Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of the vessels of the house of God. He carried them into the land of Shinar to the house of his god, and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.


“You, O king, looked and there before you was a great image. This image, which was mighty, and whose brightness was excellent, stood before you, and its appearance was terrifying.


“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, nor will its sovereignty be left to another people; but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever.


Then Daniel (whose name was also Belteshazzar), was stricken mute for a while, and his thoughts troubled him. The king answered, “Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream or the interpretation, trouble you.” Belteshazzar answered, “My lord, may the dream be for those who hate you, and its interpretation to your adversaries.


it is you, O king, that have grown and become strong; for your greatness has grown, and reaches to the sky, and your dominion to the end of the earth.


You will be driven from men and your dwelling will be with the animals of the field. You will be made to eat grass as oxen, and will be wet with the dew of the sky, and seven times will pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.


How great are ʜɪꜱ signs! How mighty are ʜɪꜱ wonders! Hɪꜱ kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. Hɪꜱ dominion is from generation to generation.


You will be driven away from humankind, and your dwelling will be with the animals of the field. You will be made to eat grass like oxen. Seven times will pass by you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of humankind, and gives it to whomever ʜᴇ will.’”


At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.


“To you, king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father the kingdom, and greatness, and glory, and majesty.


Dominion was given him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be destroyed.


But although they sold themselves among the nations, I will now gather them; and they begin to waste away because of the oppression of the king of mighty ones.


And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.


Jesus answered, “You would have no power at all against me unless it were given to you from above. Therefore the one who delivered me to you has greater sin.”


and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has released us from our sins by his blood—


These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”


On his garment and on his thigh he has a name written, “king of kings and lord of lords.”


“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory, the honor, and power, since you created all things, and through your will, they existed and were created!”


They were saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was butchered to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”
