Hᴇ uncovers deep things out of darkness, and brings out to light the shadow of death.


whether it is for correction, or for ʜɪꜱ land, or for lovingkindness, that ʜᴇ causes it to come.


“Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover you?


Hᴇ makes the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, and the rooms of the south.


You make darkness, and it is night, in which all the animals of the forest prowl.


Hᴇ sent darkness and made it dark— Did they not rebel against ʜɪꜱ words?


I will bring the blind by a way that they don’t know. I will lead them in paths that they don’t know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.


We grope for the wall like the blind. Yes, we grope as those who have no eyes. We stumble at noon as if it were twilight. Among those who are strong, we are like dead men.


“Therefore, I will make them know, this time I make them know my hand and my might. Then they will know that my name is YHWH.”


“This is what YHWH says, the one who made the earth, YHWH who formed it and established it, YHWH is ʜɪꜱ name:


Hᴇ is here: the one who forms the mountains, creates the wind, declares ʜɪꜱ thoughts to humankind, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth: YHWH, the God of Armies, is his name.”


It will happen in that day,” says Lord YHWH, “that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day.


It is he who builds his rooms in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth—YHWH is his name.
