But God is the judge. Hᴇ puts down one, and lifts up another.


You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.


The angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them, and stood behind them.


In the morning watch, YHWH looked out on the Egyptian army through the pillar of fire and of cloud, and confused the Egyptian army.


He said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you plan to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian?” Moses was afraid, and said, “Surely this thing is known.”


Now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. See, my angel will go before you. Nevertheless, on the day when I punish, I will punish them for their sin.”


I will send an angel before you; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.


In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.


When we cried to YHWH, he heard our voice, sent an angel, and brought us out of Egypt. Now look, we are in Kadesh, a city in the edge of your border.


But about the dead being raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moses about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?


But his subjects hated him, and sent an envoy after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be king over us.’


Then they all shouted back, “Not this man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.


They cried out, “Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Should I crucify y’all’s King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar!”


“Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom y’all crucified, both Lord and Christ.”


For Moses indeed said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for y’all a prophet like me from among your* brothers. Y’all must listen to everything he tells y’all.


God exalted him to ʜɪꜱ right hand as Prince and a Savior, to give Israel repentance and forgiveness of sins.


“After forty years had passed, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of a burning bush.


“Y’all stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! Y’all are always resisting the Holy Spirit, just like your* ancestors did.


The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.


For if the word spoken through angels was firm, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,


They sang the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King over the ethnic groups.


But certain worthless fellows said, “How could this man save us?” They despised him, and brought him no tribute. But he held his peace.


“When Jacob had come into Egypt, and y’all’s ancestors cried to YHWH, then YHWH sent Moses and Aaron, who brought y’all’s ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.
