In those days, Peter stood up among the siblings (a gathering of about one hundred twenty people), and said,


So Peter invited them in and received them as guests. On the next day Peter got up and set out with them, and some of the siblings from Joppa accompanied him.


As Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell at his feet, and worshiped him.


Now the apostles and the siblings who were in Judea heard that the ethnic groups had also received the word of God.


The Spirit told me to go with them without hesitation. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we went into the man’s house.


But he motioned with his hand for them to be silent, and then narrated for them how the Lord had brought him out of prison. He said, “Y’all must report this to James and the siblings.” Then he left and went to another place.


When our time there was complete, we left and continued on our journey. All of them, including wives and children, escorted us out of the city. After kneeling down on the beach to pray,


where we found siblings who invited us to stay a week with them. And in this way, we came to Rome.


when I travel to Spain, I will come to y’all. For I hope to see y’all on my journey and that y’all will help me on my way there after I enjoy your* company for a while.


But thanks be to God who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of him in every place.


And though my illness was a trial to y’all, y’all didn’t despise nor reject; but y’all received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.


For this reason, siblings, in all our distress and oppression, we were encouraged about y’all because of y’all’s faith.


Y’all should remember those in prison as if you were with them, and those who are mistreated as if it were your body.


Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for YHWH your God is with you wherever you go.”


David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the souls of all the people were grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters. But David strengthened himself in YHWH his God.
