“Claudius Lysias, To the most excellent governor Felix: Greetings.


Five days later, the high priest Ananias went down with some elders and a lawyer named Tertullus. They presented their case against Paul to the governor.


We acknowledge this in every way and in every place, most excellent Felix, with deep gratitude.


Since they were staying there several days, Festus presented Paul’s case to the king, saying, “There is a man whom Felix left as a prisoner.


When we entered Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself with the soldier who guarded him.


Philip appeared at Azotus and traveled through, preaching the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
