But when Paul wanted to go to the crowd, the disciples wouldn’t let him.


He greeted them and narrated every detail of how God worked among the ethnic groups through his deacon-work.


Some of the crowd shouted one thing and some another, but when he couldn’t find out the truth because of the uproar, he ordered that Paul be brought into the barracks.


the commander ordered him to be brought into the barracks. He told them to interrogate him with a whip to find out the reason the crowd was shouting at him like that.


When a dispute became so great that the commander was afraid that Paul would be torn to pieces by them, he ordered the troops to go down and seize him from them and bring him into the barracks.


But when the son of Paul’s sister heard about their ambush, he went into the barracks and told Paul.
