When a person’s ways please YHWH, Hᴇ causes even their enemies to be at peace with them.


They were baptized by him in the Jordan, publicly acknowledging their sins.


Jesus said to him, “Today, salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham.


After she and her household were baptized, she urged us, “If y’all consider me a believer in the Lord, y’all should come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.


When they had beaten them repeatedly, they threw them into prison, and commanded the jailer to guard them carefully.


About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.


Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and everyone in his house.


(I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Otherwise, I don’t know if I baptized any others.)


For y’all were called to freedom, siblings. Only don’t use y’all’s freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.


For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love.


and this is a symbol of the baptism which now saves y’all (not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but the pledge of a good conscience toward God) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
